Interns are encouraged to attend a wide variety of concerts, education programs, fundraising events, etc., to gain a thorough understanding of all aspects of the artistic and administrative activities of the Festival. All interns will be assigned to projects outside of their position description. Part-time and full-time positions available. Each full-time intern will work 40 hours/week with flexible hours (set by the intern’s immediate supervisor) during the week, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements: Applicants must be able to work under tight deadlines and be able to take directions from many people. This job will require lifting heavy equipment and may require driving large cargo vehicles (16 foot truck and/or cargo van). Previous stage managing experience is desirable. Applicants should have their own means of transportation while at the Festival, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and clean driving record. Applicants must be 21 years or older. The dates for this internship are June 17 (arrival and start date) through July 29, 2013 (departure date).
Stipend: $700 + room and board
