Development and Marketing Intern (January/Spring Terms)

The Development and Marketing Intern will assist in the following areas in preparation for the 2012 Summer Season and overall development of the organization. The EMF offices are located in the Greensboro Cultural Center, downtown Greensboro.
 

Mailing List
  • Assist in data entry of old records into EMF Mailing List database 
  • Research contact information online of Eastern Music Festival alumni for future correspondence
  • Update database with current contact information
 
Marketing
  • Update multiple online calendars and websites including, but not limited to, WFDD Arts Calendar, Visitor’s Bureau, etc.
  • Assist with various marketing projects, including Retirement Community plan and additional patron recruitment
  • Assist with compiling information for season brochure and playbill
 
Archiving Assistance
  • Assist in scanning archived photos
  • Assist in compiling information from historical documents for EMF archives and use
 
Misc.
  • Assist in data entry of old records into Alumni Database (MS Access) and update Alumni Database with current contact information
  • Additional duties as required
 
Requirements
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and the ability to work independently
  • Available 8-20 hours/week
  • Computer Skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Access
  • Musical knowledge is a preferred, but not required
