David Parks

David Parks, a native of Greensboro, N.C. has worked with artists such as Ben Folds, Terrance Blanchard, and film composer James Newton Howard. As a chamber musician, Parks has performed with Quartet San Francisco and the Henry Mancini Institute String Quartet. In 2011, he was the winner of N.C. ASTA Competition and frequently served as concertmaster throughout his education. In addition, he lectured at the University of Miami and taught at the Frost Preparatory School. Currently, David Parks is a member of the Winston≠Salem Symphony. Parks holds a Master of Music in violin from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Music from UNC Greensboro.
