David Ledoux : Cello
David Ledoux is Principal Cellist of the Syracuse Symphony. He was formerly the principal cellist of the Baton Rouge Symphony, the Louisiana Sinfonietta, and the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra in Mississippi. He has also served as a cellist in the Tulsa Philharmonic Orchestra in Oklahoma and the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra in Louisiana. Mr. LeDoux studied cello at the University of Southern California with Ronald Leonard and at the Louisiana State University with Dennis Parker. He has attended the International Festival-Institute at Round Top, Texas, and Charlie Castleman's Quartet Program in Pennsylvania. He has studied chamber music with Milton Thomas, Donald McInnes, Michelle Kim and Martin Lovett. As a soloist, LeDoux has performed with the Louisiana Sinfonietta, the Mid-Texas Symphony, the Tulsa Philharmonic, and the Oklahoma State University Orchestra. This is his second summer at EMF.
