Jessica Guideri : Violin I
Since making her Carnegie Hall solo debut at age seventeen, American violinist JESSICA GUIDERI has performed as soloist with such orchestras as the Queens Symphony, the Westchester Symphony, and the Symphony Orchestra of Campinas in Brazil. She has given solo recitals in Taiwan, Italy, and the United States, including appearances at Steinway Hall, Lefrak Hall, and Lincoln Center. Jessica toured nationally and internationally as the first violinist of the Fry Street Quartet, which served as Artist in Residence on the faculty at Utah State University. She has also performed as concertmaster of several orchestras, and held the position of Associate Principal Second Violin in the Phoenix Symphony.
Jessica currently lives in Los Angeles, where she is the Associate Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra as well as Assistant Principal Second Violin in the Pacific Symphony. She can also be heard on numerous major motion picture soundtracks.
Jessica received both the Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in violin performance from the Juilliard School, where her teachers included Dorothy Delay, Masao Kawasaki, and Joel Smirnoff.
