EMF Chamber Crawl
About the Chamber Crawl
On June 16, 2018, from 1–5 pm, Eastern Music Festival will host the 4th annual Chamber Crawl. Last year over 1,000 people walked through the streets of Downtown Greensboro with a youthful excitement enjoying the fun afternoon of FREE music. This year the Chamber Crawl features a diverse selection of local talent including Chad Eby and Friends, Railyard String Quartet, The UNCG Steel Drum Ensemble and the Minerva Saxophone Quartet.
Chamber Crawl will begin at 1 pm at the Koshary with the UNCG Steel Drum Ensemble and live music will play every 20 minutes at a different event throughout the afternoon before concluding with a fun finale at The Bearded Goat at 5 pm
EMF is partnering with 10 downtown venues, including Cheesecake’s by Alex, the Bearded Goat, Triad Stage, Elsewhere, Blue Denim, Jerusalem Market, The Koshary, Liberty Oak, Scuppernong Book Store and the Ambleside Art Gallery.
Come join us and have a drink, or just sit and listen, and enjoy your afternoon with us across Downtown Greensboro at the 4th annual Chamber Crawl!
This year’s crawl is generously sponsored by the Cemala Foundation, Yamaha, Steinway, the Moore Music Company, Arts Greensboro, Guilford College, the Lincoln Financial Foundation and the O’Henry Hotel.
A concert series where classical and Americana combine, Eastern Music Festival's Fringe series features a wide variety of musical genres. During the EMF summer festival, we present one free concert on the lawn of Guilford College as a part of the Music for Sunday Evenings in the Park series. In the off-season, Fringe stays active through participation in ArtsGreensboro's 17 Days. Past Fringe Series artists include Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Doc Watson, Aimee Mann, Bob Margolin, Mark O'Connor and Los Straitjackets.
