About the Series
Founded in 1961, EMF is one of the country's top summer music festivals – bringing accomplished, world-renowned artists together with exceptionally gifted young musicians from across the USA and several continents to study and participate in more than 100 concerts and music-related events for five weeks each summer. Many concerts are held at EMF's home, Guilford College, and some performances are held at venues in downtown Greensboro.
Our Classical program is divided into six series, with performances every night of the week during throughout the five-week festival:
Tuesdays

EMF Tuesday Chamber Series 8:00pm - Christ United Methodist Church & UNCG Recital Hall
Thursdays & Fridays

Tannenbaum-Sternberger Young Artists Series 8:00pm - Dana Auditorium at Guilford College
