NAOMI GRAF enjoys an active career as a performing violist and teacher. She has served as principal violist for the Connecticut Grand Opera Orchestra and guest principal for both the Bridgeport and Ridgefield Symphonies. Graf has recorded on the Hanssler Classic label as a member of the Rebel Baroque Orchestra. She currently performs with the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra as well as in various ensembles in New York City including National Chorale, Voices of Ascension and New York Oratorio Society, to name a few. Graf is a member of the faculty of Hoff-Barthelson Music School in Scarsdale, NY where she is also the Director of the Chamber Music Program and Director of the Viola Club Program. She has served on the Board of Music’s Recreation in Ithaca, NY and the New York Viola Society. Graf received her Bachelor’s Degree in Viola Performance from The Juilliard School of Music and her Master’s of Music Degree from Yale University School of Music. Her principal viola teachers include Lillian Fuchs, Paul Kantor, and Donald McInnes. She is an alumna of EMF and this is her first season with the faculty.
