CORINE BROUWER is concertmaster of the Winston-Salem Symphony. She will be acting concertmaster at the Sunriver Music Festival in Oregon for the 2019 season and assistant principal second violin of Arizona MusicFest. Brouwer has been on faculty at EMF for 14 years. Brouwer has been involved in the commissioning and performances of new works, and her projects have won numerous awards, including selection for a national Meet the Composer Award. Brouwer has appeared as a soloist with the North Carolina Symphony, Winston Salem Symphony, Arizona MusicFest Orchestra, and others. This coming season will include another solo opportunity with the Sunriver Music Festival. She loves to travel and has a particular interest in ancient sites. Brouwer received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music from the UNC School of the Arts.
