Violinist Erin David lives in Charleston, WV, with her dog Dmitri. She is the Assistant Concertmaster of the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, first violinist of the Montclaire String Quartet, and Artist-in-Residence at West Virginia State University. Originally from Miami, FL, she completed her undergraduate studies at Lynn University with Elmar Oliveira. David received her Advanced Music Studies Certificate at Carnegie Mellon University with Andres Cardenes. She plays on a 2012 instrument made by Giancarlo Arcieri. In her spare time, David enjoys hiking, dog training, and eating ice cream.
