Kelly Hofman

KELLY HOFMAN has been on the faculty of EMF since 2005. Residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she is principal horn with the Wisconsin Philharmonic, and second horn with the Fox Valley Symphony and the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra. She is also a regular substitute with Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist, Hofman has performed Mozart’s First Horn Concerto, Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds, Strauss’ First Horn Concerto and Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings. Previously, Hofman was a member of Civic Orchestra of Chicago and a Tanglewood Music Center Fellow. Hofman attended Northwestern University, New England Conservatory, and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and is honored to have studied with Gail Williams, Dick Mackey, Randy Gardner and Ted Thayer. Hofman is married to EMF violist Jamie Hofman.
